Hi

After we apply for the Canadian GC card, do they provide us any information when to come and collect, is there any time limit that we have to collect the GC card within so many days ? Do we have to collect it personally ? Please help if any information.

Kishore30,

Once you apply for your PR card, it will processed during the timeframe, stated in the PR Kit. Yes, once the card is ready, CIC will notify you via canada post (to the canadian address you had provided in the application) as to which local CIC office you are supposed to go and pick up the card.

It would be wise to pick up the card within a week from the date of receipt of the letter.
