After 6 months wait letter?

I sent an inquiry and received a letter from USCIS stating that they are waiting for name/bg checks and I should not call them before 6 months have passed.

What could be the action plan after we get this letter? What are the other things we could do to help ourselves

- email to FBI?
- mail from employer?
- calling senators?
 
You can contact the senator for your NC status confirmation and FBI does not respond the e-mail inquiry anymore.

By the way, how long does it take for you to receive USCIS letter after your inquiry? What is your PD?
