Affidevit - please answere

I just heard from one of mine friend that if birth certificate are of recent date thaen we will get RFE for affidevit.
I have question regarding affidevit, if some body can answere
1- can we submit an affidevit from parents.
2- Does it will be from one person, one affidevit per applicant.

yes you can have one affidevit from your parent and another from your family freind.
