Hi folks. I am in a state of limbo. I filed for I-751 in Dec, 2008. Now they send me I-797 asking for further documentation. They have asked for all the documents that I had already sent them. All my documents were very well organized in a half inch binder, with a table of contents and tabs for all the documents. Anyways, I have to send the same again. The only thing I didnt send earlier (which they have asked for) is two sworn affidavits from people that have known me since my marriage.
My question to you all is, what should be the subject matter of the affidavit? Is there a sample available on this blog? Is it supposed to be a simple sheet of paper that needs to be notorized? How does a statement from a friend of mine become an "affidavit" ? Please advise.
