Hey guys,in the instructions for this year,it wasnt mentioned that an affidavit of support by a U.S resident,just address.. will be needed...Is it mandatory?

From what I know, you only need an Affidavit of Support if your own funds are not sufficient enough to support yourself/your family until you find a job in US. Do a search in this forum. There is information available on Affidavits of Support.

you may be right , but still no mention for that as one of the required documents that are needed to be submitted in the interview. did they removed that this year ??
