Hi,
My wife filed 130 for me and is approved recently and i am planning to apply 485. my Wife is USC and i came here on H1. As we have to show last 3 years of income for support, My wife income is below the poverty line mentioned by USCIS for 2002 and 2003. For Last year(2004), when i joined her, we filed jointly and income is just above the limit.This year we have good income to show and I have a good job. Can i apply 485 showing this year statements or Do i really need a co-sponser.

Your advice is higly appriciated.

Most of the times, the main weightage is on the income from the most recent of the previous three years and you should be fine using your own income as long as your individual/combined income meets/exceeds the minimum requirement.

As for a joint sponsor, its your wish. It would help you, but if your income is sufficient, you dont need one.
