Affidavit of support ? Why do they care?

Hello,

iam in the process of applying a visa for my folks back home.

I just came across this when i was filing the i-134 affidavit of support.

Question 9: That I have previously submitted affidavit(s) of support for the following person(s). If none, state "None.''

Question 10: That I have submitted visa petition(s) to the Immigration and Naturalization Service on behalf of the following
person(s). If none, state none.

For the GC process, i submitted a i-134 for my wife, so i should put my wife's name in Question 9 & 10.

But my question is
1) what happens if i put NONE?
2) why do they care about the history ?
3) how far should i go in the history to say i submitted i-134 for "X" number of people.
4) If i put 'NONE' , how does it affect my responsibility to support the person iam currently sponsoring ?

Atlast, what exactly should i anser in Question 9 & Question 10? Because there is no 'relationship' column. All it says punch-in the "name & date-applied".
