Hi guys,
Has anybody got I134 notarized in India, and not in the US?
I have my interview next week, and I am in India currently for the interview. I donot have the affidavit of support I-134 notarized as of yet.
I want to know if it is okay to get it notarized by any notary in India, or does it have to be a notary from the US?

Please reply soon

Not required if employment based

You dont need the affidavit of support if your petition is empl based and you are single. I am not sure what the formalities are for married folks.
From what i know, the aff cannot be notarized in india.

No Title

I-134 has to be notarized in the USA or signed in the presence of the US official at the particular embassy. However, why not to have it done in the US? It takes only a couple of minutes.

Assuming your spouse/dependents are accompanying you for the interview

Just take the un-notarized I134 with you. You can sign it in the presence of the officer there. Also, most consulates have US notaries (for US citizens). Check with your local consulate, if you can access their service (incase your dependents are not accompanying you)
