Affidavit of Support I-864 or I-134 ??

In preparation for P-3, I am being asked by my attorney\'s legal assistant to complete I-864 as affidavit of support.

I read some postings in this forum mentioning that had to fill I-134.

Can some one pl. clarify ASAP?

If the case is employment category then you do not need I-864

You only need I-134 at the time interview.

I am not sure if this is something new...Because historically we did not have to fill out I-864 as part of packet 3. I just got packet 3 from NVC and am wondering if I have to fill it out ...

Any inputs ?

I-864 is for family based cases. For employment based immigration cases you have to file Form I-134 for your dependents
 
Do I need I134 for employment based petitions?

who is supposed to fill this out? I am the only person getting the GC. does the employer need to fill out a I134?
 
I double checked with the Legal Assistant

on this earlier, but she still insists that I fill out I-864. I read on immihelp that for Employment based immigration one need to fill in I-134, however when I go through I-864, it mentions it is for both family based and employment based.

Mine is employment based, I am really confused with this.
