I received a letter from the INS Newark Office today stating that my I-485 application was missing an Affidavit of Support - I 864 application. This is the first I am hearing of an Affidavit of Support requirement for Employment Based AOS case.
My Case history is as follows.
PD-July 1996
I485 ND-Oct 1999
Changed jobs-Jan 2001
FP-Mar 2001
RFE-Apr 2001
RFE Replied-May 2001
Case Transferred from Vermont to Newark-June 2001
Recieved letter of Missing Affidavit of Support - Aug 1st 2001
I would appreciate your comments on this.
