Has anyone had to write an affidavit letter to sumbit to the USCIS outlining why you are having a former colleague writing a reference rather than the former employer? If so, can you please share your experiences with some detail (what was the justification provided to the USCIS) and the outcome (was it accepted by the USCIS)?
