I have a question regarding affidavit of support.
I have a cousin (my aunt's son), who is willing to file my affidavit of support. But his wife was unemployed last year (now is employed) and he is telling me that he is not sure if he meets the minimum poverty level, because he is living with his parents, his wife and his two daughters. My family consists of three persons, me, my wife and my son. So in total we become 9 persons.
There is a friend of my cousin who has a great annual income and is willing to file my affidavit of support.
In my opinion there are three choices for me:
1) Only my cousin files the affidavit of support
If my cousin doesn't meet the minimum poverty level:
2) Only my cousin's friend files the affidavit of support
3) My cousin files the affidavit of support and his friend becomes a joint sponsor.
What should i do? Please, can you help?
