Affected by PD Retrogression but few questions

Dear friends,

I am also one of them who have been affected by PD retrogression. So I do not expect approvals in near future. But I am lill confused with LUD changes.

As all you guys are aware that this PD Retrogression news is floating for quite some time, and by early Dec 2004 we already knew that you need to have PD before 01/01/2004 to get our cases approved after Jan 1, 2005.

But I saw LUD changes for both of our cases on 12/23/2004 without any updates to the message. This is not only for me but at least 3 other colleagues of my company with similar I485 ND and labor PD.

So, if USCIC knew that they are not gonna process my application after Jan 1, 05 then why did they even touch my file on Dec 23 04? What could be the reason?

I initially thought it is because of EAD application but my EAD was approved before that on Dec 10. Do you think all such cases whose LUD's are changed before Dec 31 04 and also got FP done have some hopes?

Best judgement will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
 
My & wife's 485 LUD also changed on 12/23/04. No idea why they were touched on 12/23/04.

someone asked this on 1-800 # and the answer was "inter agency report received"..

What is that "Inter agency report received" stands for.

As I said this happened to few of my colleagues as well and one of those colleague got approval on Dec 30, 2004. So thats why I was lill curious about hopes of such cases.
 
Even I got my RFE issued on Jan, 10th. There were 2 LUD's after response received. My wife also got Reschedule Notice for Finger Prints (on 02/03/2005) issued as her first finger prints got rejected. I am wondering why they are doing all this. I would think they rather spend this time on back log cases. Only God knows....
