My wife is travelling to India(the coming sunday) in Lufthansa Airlines thru Frankfurt, Germany.
She does not have a valid U.S visa on her passport (she has a valid AdvParole). Does she need a Airport Transit visa either for her onward journey or return journey, even if she is in Frankfurt just for stopovers?

The last time I checked all but one German consulate said you need visa if traveling on AP.

dude ... you could've checked a little bit sooner than this ....
If you live in a city which has German consulate, you can get it in 1 day by going there ... check the website for details.

Thanks!

Thanks Guys for your replies!
I have never travelled through Frankfurt route, so I had no clue about the "transit visa". I called the consulate and they also told me that I got to get a visa for her.
I ended up postponing her ticket to next week.

What a pain we have to go through before we get our green card..
