both my wife and i are English but my wife's father is an American citizen living in the UK.
we are wanting to move to the states and possibly invest in a business. at the moment we are just talking about it but it is something we both really do want to do.
the trouble is we have no idea where to start
could my wife's father sponsor us from the UK?
could we get in by investing in a business? does the business need to
be established and how much needs to be invested?
we really know nothing about this sort of thing so please be gentle :)
thanks

John,

Your case seems to be rather complicated given the fact that you're not married to a USC, but rather to his daughter. As far as I know the sponsorship is prioritized: USC > Daughter > and you. I think the best advise you can get no matter what people tell you in this forum is HIRE a GOOD LAWYER!

Best of luck to you!

Chigapo,

I saw your timelines and I have to questions por you
1)you did your FP by walk-in why and how you did that? Did you had a FP notification.? I just received FP notification and is for a month. Can you give me any advise to acelerate this, maybe asking for a reschedule or walk-in. How does that works.
2) You got an interim EAD before the 90 days also by walking in? How you did that?

I'll really apreciate your advise

Thanks
