Advise on RTD renovation

My RTD is expiring on may/05. Since it is taking about 6 months to arrive, can I apply to a new RTD while I still use mine?

I did that last year. Mine was about to expire in August and I applied in May saying that i need to travel in July..Anyways i got my new one in November..without them asking for the old one..

Make sure you write a letter explaining. Other forum member has suggested that you write lost..but I wouldnt feel comfi coming back cuz they must have the passport # as lost...and if they punch it in and it says lost..then u might have some explaining to do mister..

Thank you. Did you wrote a letter explaining? what did you put on the disposityion section? (lost, stolen, etc)
