please can you help my friend's questions ...

he already got labor cleared from chicago.. from companyB
..having H1 from both companyA and companyB
presently working in companyA....

but he will be completing his 6th year in march 31,2004...
so is there any possibility that he can apply 140/485 from companyB and work for them from now onwards and still be legal here???

becoz only 3 months left to stay here...
from companyA he filed GC from NY city in Oct 2001 and still pending,he got 7th year extention and now layoff going on..so he may be next person to let go....

please give some suggestions..he is very depressed...
 
I dont see what the problem is? Since your friend has already an H1 with company B as well as an approved LC, he should immediately file for 140/485 (concurrent) and can move to company B.
