Advice regarding visitor visa for brother

Hi,

My brother is appearing for a visitor visa interview soon. He just completed his studies from a renowned institute and has a job offer to join a good job in Japan in June. He would like to visit me before he takes up that offer. He had rejected a job offer from US in favor of this one from Japan.

Given his age and non-working status, what would be a good way to approach the interview. Any tips/pointers to make sure he has a good chance of getting the visa? He can show property papers to show ties to India but the fact that he is going to Japan for a job sort of contradicts the strong ties... doesn't it?

He has been abroad once before (not USA) and returned - hopefully that helps his case. My parents are both working and have also travelled abroad extensively. We don't have any other siblings.

Thanks!
Hazel
