Hi there - I am currently looking into the new E3 visa and wondered if anyone had any advice, given I am not sure how my situation fits in with the E3 requirements.
Firstly, I am an Australian citizen.
I work in the entertainment industry and have done so for over 10 years - specifically production/site management of large scale concert tours and music festivals - obviously an area that 'could' be deemed a specialized occupation that requires a high degree of knowledge and experience.
I have been offered a temporary position in the US to work on a music festival - it would be for a period of 1 - 2 months.
Given I work in a field that has no 'formal qualifications'; if I were to gather supporting documentation such as - letters from employers, people I have worked with etc. that can declare what I do is a unique occupation and that I have 10 years + experience and knowledge of working in this area - could this be considered sufficient to meet the E3 criteria?
Also, any advice I should offer my US sponsor in terms of filing for a LCA?
