Advice on filing location for Asylee I-485

Hi everyone!

My one year anniversary of grant of asylum is coming up this June, I currently live in the South (Texas Service Center Jurisdiction) but I am moving to the Northeast (Nebraska Service Center Jurisdiction) in August. I have two options:

Option 1:
File I-485 in June on my anniversary date to Dallas Lockbox and have it processed at Texas Service Center

Option 2:
Wait until I move to New York in August, and file I-485 to Chicago Lockbox and have it processed at Nebraska Service Center

I am thinking of going with Option 2 because I heard that Texas is slower than Nebraska, doing a change of address with a pending I-485 might mean mail sent to old address, and it is only a two month difference so not a big deal.

What does everyone here think?

Wait till you go to NEw york fir sure but can you please tell me which state in the south do you live in? I live in ohio and i have no idea that if I’m related to texas ir Nebraska?

I'm in Virginia. I think Ohio is under Texas service center, but don't quote me on that haha

So what’s this? ? Nebraska and Texas still issue the GC for asylees so you send to this address then they route it to NBC then either to texas or Nebraska service center! Check your facts

So what? This is not my fact, this is USCIS fact. many cases still at Nebraska or NBC, we had already sent our applications to Texas or Nebraska and they were routed to NBC. What I am saying is if somebody files I-485 "TODAY" no Nebraska adres anymore. But before, more than 10 states were sending asylum based I-485 applications to Nebraska, there is no more Nebraska adres for asylum based.
What does this mean to you is; you have been bullying people here for two months, where did you apply, from which state did you sent application bla bla. I have just posted your answer up there. If your adres is in either Ohio or California, you will send your application to Phoenix, after sending your application nobody knows(at least in this forum) where they will send your application. After 1 year asylum granted, that means 8-10 months later for you, even USCIS doesn't know what is going to change, which lucky office will take care of your application.
This is public forum and people help each other, stop this attitude. if you think there is something wrong in a post, you can try to use kind language, your manner don't help anyone here. Common sense man common sense, everyone here having hard times from beginning to the final.
