Hi everyone!
My one year anniversary of grant of asylum is coming up this June, I currently live in the South (Texas Service Center Jurisdiction) but I am moving to the Northeast (Nebraska Service Center Jurisdiction) in August. I have two options:
Option 1:
File I-485 in June on my anniversary date to Dallas Lockbox and have it processed at Texas Service Center
Option 2:
Wait until I move to New York in August, and file I-485 to Chicago Lockbox and have it processed at Nebraska Service Center
I am thinking of going with Option 2 because I heard that Texas is slower than Nebraska, doing a change of address with a pending I-485 might mean mail sent to old address, and it is only a two month difference so not a big deal.
What does everyone here think?
