advice on changing atterney

the atterney is acturelly the same, but she left her previous firm and started her own one. If I move my files with her, the correspondence atterney will be changed. should I move? 485 has been pending for a year.

Not necessary for you to continue with your attorney who set up her own office. Unless you believe that she is the best person for your job.

This musical chairs is very common in law circles, I have lost 3 attorneys due to similar reasons over my 3 years with INS. Stuck to the same firm though, they kept assigning me with new attorneys. And the endless wait continues!

She may not the best one. but she answers my questions, replys my emails. the new atterney the firm assigned me doesn't. I almost decide to move, but want to know is there any bad impact?
 
No there shouldn't be any effect what so ever, as long as your attorney makes sure that records are updated accordingly with INS and all the documents are transfered over from the old law firm properly.

BTW, My ND is 10/02/02, WAC 03-002. be in the same boat with you for 485, though my 140 didn't take for ever.

Actually neither did mine! I think I almost set the speed record of inside 22 days! But the story about the name is long and old, so won't get into it here!
