I decided to renew my visa in my home country (Colombia), I always was in status but my visa expired 4 years ago. I need to travel abroad to complete my thesis research and I want some advice of experiences renewing the F1 visa.
to make my story short,
I am a current M.Arch at the University of Massachusetts. I got my visa issued in 2004 and it was granted for 6 months. After that, I studied in 3 different English institutes until was accepted at UMASS. I started my Master in 2007 and I am about to graduate. But I didn't renews my visa since 2004,
I have to say that I took some graduate courses prior this program at the Harvard Extension school, (2005-2007). but I keep my status with an English institute until 2007. I have all the transcripts and I-20s during my stay in USA
Do you guys think that I might have any inconvenient at the interview?
I have the appointment next week, and I really appreciate any comment or suggestion....
