advice needed

hi folks
i had replied to the RFE for Company Employment letter and paystubs via my lawyer on feb 9th 01 but till date INS claims they haven\'t received. i spoke to my slacker lawfirm and they adviced to wait for another 2 weeks. i don\'t get the point whats the duable plan to get INS to start some real work. i guess i might be venting my frustration but i am sorry if that upsets someone, my sincere apologies, but i was wondering if someone can throw some light on this scenario.
my case details
PD DEC 98 EB2
I 485 ND Sept 99
RD Sept 99
RFE issued Jan 01 for employment letter and paystubs
RFE replied on Feb 09th 01
no records in INS AVM system still has the old bark appl received on sept xx 99 nothing further abt RFE or update to the RFE reply.
i have asked the house rep but till date i haven\'t seen any positive feedback on that front. seems to be some formal reply might get a decision by some date etc.
please once again sorry for intrusion into anyone\'s frustration i just wanted an advice with regards to what possibilities i have to get INS to start looking for my RFE responses?

Just for the hell of INS, why don\'t you send another employment letter with current paystubs yourself with FEDEX or postal, with all accessories(return receipt, etc.). It won\'t hurt. Just my thinking.

Ask your lawyer for the proof of mailing. Some lawyers and employers get together and play games. They will hold the RFE until they are close to the deadline to reply. Make sure they sent it and then persue other things. Just suspecting INS is not enough.
