 As GC is too long a way to go for our asylees,I'm considering to change to Labour Certificate procedure. But before making the decision,I have several concerns as follows.

1) Will this influence or destroy my spouse and children's follow-to-join status
(they're still waiting for visa in homeland, over 1 year and 2 months after
the 1st interview)?

2) Which category the Labour Certificate procedure belongs to?H1b?As far as
far as I know we asylees cannot change to non-immigrant categories.

3) If succeeded in filing I-485 by Labour Certifate procedure, how long would
it be to get GC (I'm in California)?

4) Under Labour Certificate procedure, how long would it be to get my family
reunited?

I'm self-employed now and it seems very hard,so I just want to find a salaried
job.If this does'nt conflict,I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone.Please give me your advice,my dear buddies.

Thanks in advance.

People have argued in this forum that you can have 2 simultaneous applications. Also, this forum has a category for labor certification. You can get more information there. Good luck
