Advice needed on Name Check

I have been waiting for the I-485 approvals for 2.5 years. Now I found out the FBI or the Homeland Security Office is going Name Check on me? They don't disclose the time frame. So What I should do? Just wait? Is there any way to speed up the process?
Does anyone have the same experience? Your advice is really appreciated? Thanks advance.

How did you get to know that FBI or Homeland Security Office is doing name check? This would throw some light and people might suggest you who to reach.
 
My lawyer and his assistant are very helpful persons. They contacted the service center for me and got to know that. I also contact the congressman's case worker. The case worker got the same answer. You can try that too when the processing time is beyond your notice date or the case worker probably cannot help. But it doesn't hurt to give it a try.
