Advice needed - FP

Gurus!

we are going for FP at NYC next week.

1) do we leave our cell phones home?

2) the receipt that we have are kept by ASC or we get them back?

3) do we get some kind of proof that we completed FP?

4) Just to confirm, only a govt. issued ID and FP receipt are enough or other immigration related papers are needed too?

Just be sure to turn cell phone off in the building

You will get them back with a stamp

How soon FP notice?

How soon we will get our FP notice if filling 485/765/131 for the first time? PD will be current this june.but we have a travel plan to india June 17-July 13.
If i mail the application on June 15..is it safe to travel?

although variable, most people have FP schduled 20-30 days from USCIS receipt date.

There is always an option of rescheduling but it will delay the case processing to some extent.
