advice needed for h1b visa revalidation

just wanted to figure out if it is safe to send my visa papers and passport to St. Louis, MO.

i want to know the experience. and any advice will be helpful. pointing out to any faqs will be helpful. i have tried searching this forum, but couldnot find any.

thanks for the reply. is there a list of documents that i need to send, a list of things to do that i can refer to.

or can you please point me to any thread that has the essentials
