Advice me please.

hi all,

thanks for previous advice. now this is my story.
I have be in Germany for close to 8 months now. my wife will be
joining me in first week September.
she was selected for DV2009, number : 2009AF000015xx
while filling the form we considered the option of selecting to have our
interview in frankfurt, but as that time she was not in Germany and we
thought that may create a problem. so we selected lagos embassy,
In Nigeria
now we are considering asking KCC for possible change in to frankfurt
when she get here in september. but considering her very low number,
we have a feeling the process might have gone too far, which may
mess things up.
the other option is equally problematic. for her to wait ,and have the
interview in Nigeria while i travel down. the problem is that I learnt the
embassy in Nigeria will collect ones passport for 1 month, which will
make it impossible for me to return to Germany to continue my
programme in time. lastly my stay in germany is till may 2009.
I need advice on how to handle this situation.

Advice: At this point in time I would advice you to just go ahead and prepare to interview in Lagos. Don't change your mind mid-stream.

You have one chance at this DV opportunity, but you can always make adjustments to your program. If you loose 1 month don't worry about it, consider it an opportunity cost. You could have lost that month in many other ways.

Figure out what's more important to you!

Well, if you had been the one that one the lottery, i would have suggested having the interview in germany. I'll say stick with the lagos consulate since ur wife is the winner.
