I would like to thank in advance to anyone who can take a minute, read this post and comment :
My situation:
I entered the US under the visa waiver program and got married with a US citizen, we sent out the papers 70 days a go, I still have not received work permit, or travel permit.
In the meantime, we marrige does not work, and I plan to get divorce.
On the other hand, I have been offered a E-1 Visa position here in the US, by a company who is already certified as a trader.
Questions:
what should I do :
1. wait for my work permit, and then withdraw my 485?
2. Withdraw my 485, depart the country and apply for E1 in my own country?
3. what are the risks invovled? what is the best way to do it .
4. anyone know a really good lawyer that specialise with E-1 and marrige?
