If I have an advance parole am I eligible to goto my own country or can I visit other countries. I might have to goto London on a business trip and I applied for I-485 in December 2000. I will appreciate any input.

Yes, you are. But you\'ll need the visa for England. Also, when you come back to US, you will have to work on EAD. Therefore, make sure that you have EAD on hand.
