I am a US citizen trying to obtain permanent residence for my British wife.
Process started 2 years ago, but I130 has been approved, and I485 is being reviewed. She obtained advanced parole to travel to England last summer, and was told that it was good for two years. When she returned, airline stopped her, pointing to a June 2006 date on parole certificate, though passport is stamped with August 2006 parole date. She can process case through US embassy, try to return on visa waiver, or create stink that CIS were at fault?
What is quickest way she can return?
