Hi, I am currently on V non-immigrant status and my priority date(june 15 2000) for F2b category is approaching(currently Apr 15 2000). If i file for adjustment of status once my priority date is current, will I be able to travel outside the country and enter without an advanced parole. I had read somewhere that people with V non-immigrant status do not need advance parole after filing for AOS, they can enter usa by getting a v-visa from the consulate.
Also, can i remain on V non-immigrant status and file for AOS after returning from my trip?
