This is my 10th year on H1B; I have travelled abroad 10+ times on H1B visa.
This time after 11 weeks of family visit abroad, I just entered US, for the first time with Advance Parole.
At secondary inspection,
Upon asking I told the officer abt past family visit and that I was going to do international (personal) travel next month again (this time for 2 weeks).
Upon finish, he returned me just one Advance Parole document.
Upon asking, he told that ''I keep the other one. Have a nice day"
Later I asked some of my friends who have travelled back and forth on AP, and they have both Advanced Parole documents with them.
What may be the reason the officer may have kept the other AP with him in this case?
