My wife(Canadian) and I have been trying to get her 2 girls (ages 10 and 6) here to live since Jan 2002. We finally got our Senator to get BCIS to expedite these I-130's and they are now complete. However, we don't know what happens now as the visas are processed. How long is expected wait time for immediate relative? Is there any way that the girls could be here (Arkansas) for this period of time and do the interview here? Maybe advanced parole? Don't know if this is possible with the I-130's already done. I know it says you can't file another petition while one is pending but these are done now. INS gave us bogus information at the office we visited to find out what we needed to do to get them here......didn't know anything about K visas or anything else. The girls could have been here a lot quicker if not for this. To add to this we are now facing a custody battle with the father in Canada because INS has taken so long. Help!
