Hi, I am in 485 process, if my wife goes back without AP in hand,
can I mail her AP when we get AP in the mail ? then I mail to her
in India, so she can take AP to get in the states, is this feasible ?
Thanks
It\'s possible to do that (and believe it or not, some have
done that and succeed), but technically speaking, if she
leaves the country without either AP or H1 stamp, her AOS
is deemed abandoned. It is advisable that she wait and get
AP in hand before she travels.
My I-485 is under processing at CSC and I have completed my finger printing.
Just a couple of days ago, I listened to INS Automated Voice Mail System about my case.
Here is roughly what I heard :
" On March 29th 2001, your I-485 case has been forwared to the local INS office at San Francisco, CA to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take several months. They will notify you of the interview date or of any other action they take on your case"
Question : Does this mean that I will be interviewed at SF INS office?
