Hi,

My employer has filed application for my green card. I-140 is approved and I-485 was filed in July 2003.
I travelled outside the US in March 2004 and entered on Advance parole, which is valid till April 2005.

At the port of entry, the immigration officer gave me I-94 that has the same date of expiration as of my Advance parole - i.e. April 12, 2005. It also says "AOS" (Adjustment of Status).

I am not sure as what should i do for expiration of I-94 -

Do i need to get it extended ? If yes, what is the procedure - can anyone comment on this pls. ?

Pls. advise

thanks

Why THREE copies of AP?

1. Got my AP - THREE copies in original, and lawyer's letter suggests that I carry all three original copies while travelling....anyone knows why?

2. AP expires 9/8/05, how and when to file for renewal? Same question for EAD.

TIA.

1) Carry all the copies with you but present only one copy when asked. I have never been asked, neither did I present more than one Copy. There is no problem. If needed, they will take a copy of the document.

2) Previously I used to apply for AP 90 days before expiry and around 60 days before expiry. Not sure how long these are taking now a days. I am surprised that you did not get a 2 or 3 year EAD when you got it.
Not sure what you mean by where to apply? Just download the form and all the instructions are on the form.
