Recently when I filed for the renewal of AP. I didnot get a notice of action but got only a Tracking number. Now my mother is ill and I need to travel abroad. I do not have a notice of action. How can I request the local BCIS center for interim AP?
I am very much worried . Please advise.

That's strange that you didn't get the notice. You might want to try calling the 800# and request for "service action" on the AP.

This should generate the notice, however this will take atleast a month.

Therefore, you might want to try the local INS office and request for AP based upon some proof that your mother is ill.
