Advance parole travel to Singapore

I need to go to singapore for a 1-2 days for business. Can I travel to Singapore without a visa (using AP)? Earlier I have been allowed to stay in Singapore because of valid H1B. My H1B is expired. I have an extension that is not stamped and I intend traveling on AP.

Are you asking if you can use an AP document to return to the United States? Well, that is exactly the purpose of the AP document, isn't it?

Or are you asking if Singapore will let you into the country if you don't have a US visa? What does a US visa have to do with entering Singapore? I'm confused....

I too have a question, which needs a similar or same answer.

Me and my wife don't have valid visa stamped in our passports.

we have valid APs.

If we plan to go to other countries (apart from India , to where we hold Indian passports) can we get Visa for these countries based on our AP to reenter US?

Is this country - consulate specific?

If so how about Canada, Bahamas , puerto rico , Caribbean countries and European countries? (that's almost half the globe :))

Does anyone have experience in getting Visas to other counties based on your AP as valid proof to re-enter US?

To clarify, I have a US visa that will expire by the time I reach Singapore. However, I will not have a Singapore Visa. Can I stay in Singapore for 1-2 days based on my return ticket to the US and the AP document - like I stayed in Singapore, in the past, for 3 days (since I had a valid US visa and a return ticket to US at that time)..

Read this link if you haven't already, and see item #6 in particular from the first list you see. It still looks like you need a visa though. The first time you traveled, where you transiting from India to the US?

I have decided to skip singapore altogether and go to India to get H1B stamping done (since my H1B stamped expires next week). Now, my new dilemma is that I just got my 3rd FP apointment notice (15 months expiring) for the day I am returning on - obviously will not be able to make it..how risky is it re-schedule FP aptmt?

I had been to Bahamas. Got bahamas tourist visa based on my AP documents. It was very easy with AP.

Why would it be risky? There shouldn't be any risk since rescheduling is a valid procedure, directions to which are provided on the appointment notice,

You can also try to go to the ASC now with your notice and airline tickets, explain that you won't be there, and see if they'll take you in now.

I still don't understand how you intend to enter a country without a visa if you are required to have a visa... or how you did so the first time ... but that's a separate matter....

Thanks... I did get my FP done today..much before the aptmt date just to get it out of the way before my travel (simply requested them to do it earlier).

As for Singapore no-visa entry, I think I was allowed earlier without a visa because (1) I had a valid US visa (2) I had onwards ticket to India and return tickets to US.

You might try getting a visa at a Singapore consulate in the US. I did this 2 years back and didnt have to worry about chances of getting a visa after landing in Singapore.
