Advance Parole - Transit Visa - Delta

Hi,
I am travelling to Madras from New York by Delta Airlines. Do I need to get a transit visa for Paris. I am hardly 1 hr 15 minutes in Paris and I will be returning back on Advance Parole. I do have a valid visa stamped on my passport until mid 2006.

Any comments appreciated. Also, please let me know if anyone have travelled through Paris on Delta Airlines.

I am in the similar situation. I am travelling next year (Jan) by Delta thru Paris and I am also on EAD/AP. I personally went to French Consulate to inquire abt the need of French visa and the rep informed me that if you are on AP you will need to have French Visa, but you can just go for Airport Transit Visa which is valid for 90 days.

TIP: Since the ATV is valid ONLY for 90 days, make sure that ur return date falls within 90 days from the issuance of visa. So if u r going for 2 mths, make sure u get visa just 1 mth before ur departure so that ur visa is valid till the date of ur return. If NOT valid then you have to go to French Consulate in ur own country to get another visa stamped.
