Advance Parole stamp on I-94. Does it invalidate my status?

Hi all,
I have my I-140 approved and the I-485 pending.
I used my advance parole to come into US on Feb 7, 2007.
The immigration officer at the port of entry stamped my I-94 which says
'paroled until Feb 8, 2008' DS/AOS or something similar.

What does that mean exactly? Does it mean I can only be here till Feb 8, 2008 eventhough my 485 is still pending? Do I need to worry about that date?
I got my EAD renewed now which is valid till Sep 2007. So I am assuming EAD is a proof of status also?

Anyone have any experience like this?

I'm just concerned that I may have to go to the INS office to get something corrected?

Thanks

No it does not invalidate your status. You can still work on EAD, you are 'in status' based on your pending I-485, and you are paroled into the U.S. till the I-94. If you want to travel outside of the U.S. again after the I-94 expiry, please apply for AP again.

Thanks a lot for the reply.
When you say 'paroled into the U.S till the I-94' what exactly does that mean?
That's what I wanted to know. Does it mean I am allowed to stay in the US till Feb 8, 2008?
If not, what does that date Feb 8, 2008 signify? Is it something like an AP document saying I can go out and come back to US within Feb 8, 2008 eventhough my old AP document already expired in Jul 2007?

Sorry for too many questions :)
I had a past experience with an INS officer at the port of entry stamping wrong date on my H1B I-94. So just making sure.
