I did not apply for AP when I applied for I-485.Hoping that approval will come before my H-1 stamp expires. But VSC had other plans. No approval yet.
My question is can I just walk into local INS office (I live in Chicago suburb, I-485 applied in VSC) and apply for AP the first time.
Has anybody has any experience and what all docuement I would need.
Any help is much appreciated.
