Advance Parole Question

ok i applied for my i485 in Nov/dec last year. Haven't quite tracked the exact dates etc.

got finger printed earlier this year (feb 2002).

my Advance Parole and EAD expires in Jan 2003.

Should it let these expire or apply for a renewal ? it was suggested that i should apply for the EAD renewal at the minimum ??

i read that people are starting to get approvals from applications made in August/September 2001.
When can i expect my GC approval ?
Who can provide me this magical EAC number for tracking ?

Are there any frequently asked questions on this topic ?

Re..

If you plan to travel then apply for AP extension.
If you think you will lose your job anytime soon, apply for EAD extension. If you are currently working on EAD, apply for extension ASAP.
You can find the EAC # on your original I485 receipt of filing.

i called my attorney to file for EAD extension.
not sure why he did not call me about extending it.

the AP has been very usefull for me in the past year ... so i will also apply for that.
