Did any one of you had the same problems as mine

I have applied my (including my wife) I-140/I-1485 in Nov 2003. Both our EAD got approved in Dec 2003 and my wife got her Travel documents in December, but not mine.
I was waiting till early this month and case was never updated on the USCIS site.
After my status enquiry, they changed the status saying " we responded to your request for more information concerning your case" and sent me a letter which I got yesterday.
In the letter, it mentioned that my case was already approved in December 2003 and the document were sent to Attorney. My attorney confirmed that they didnt receive the documents. Now INS is asking me to re-apply for my Advance Parole.
Does this happened to any one...
