How long NSC takes to approve AP? I e-filed last week and sent supporting docs. Do I have to send AP to get UK transit visa?

How long NSC takes to approve AP? I e-filed last week and sent supporting docs. Do I have to send AP to get UK transit visa?

Per NSC processing time published at Aila website , NSC was processing AP applications received on Jan 09, 2006 as of March 1, 2006.I filed my AP application on Feb 6,2006 , through my lawyer, still waiting for the approval.
