Advance Parole from Local Deroit INS Office

My advance parole is expired, didn't apply for new one now. waiting my I-485 approval because my priority date is February 2002. I saw couple of people with March and April prority date got approved.

Can we get Advance Parole from Local INS office if there is any emergency ???

Any one have any experiences regarding AP from Local office ???

Please see one of the latest posts from Edison with his experience at Detroit local office that refused him AP - not sure about Emergency AP - But his post was pretty detail that they wouldnt have anything to do with AP and that you have to contact the service center.

I tried at Detroit office last year. They refused to me issue AP. They ask me to contact NSC
