Advance Parole for H1B

My Background: from P. R. China. Adjusted status from F1 to H1B in US, so I am under H1B status, although I have never obtained the actual H1B visa stamp. Currently I-485 pending and I have Advance Parole.

When I try to re-enter US from China --

Scenario 1: I apply for H1B visa and return with H1B visa.

Scenario 2: I do not apply for H1B visa. Instead when I re-enter, I present BOTH H1B approval notice and Advance Parole document.

My question: what different effects will each scenario has on my status. To be more specific, if I go with Scenario 2, am I still considered under H1B? If I change job, can I apply for a new H1B through my new employer? If I re-new H1B with my current employer, do I lose any Advance Parole benefit?

Thank you!

i am in a similar situation, nobody is clear about it , best is to get h1b1 stamped , i am not alawyer, i am also looking for few experiences

As per my understanding, even you will use AP and will not use EAD you status in US will be same as H1B. Traveling with H1B has less hassel then AP ie what I feel but not my att.
