Advance Parole Expedite letter

Hi All,

My Wife and I have applied for Advance Parole last week.But we need to go to India before sept.My attorney mentioned that once we get a receipt from INS we can expedite the proces by submitting a letter along with the receipt number to Local INS office.Does anybody heard know whether this is true? If so is there any format for the letter that needs to be submitted?

U can apply for emergency AP at the local office.You need to submit the documented proof (like doctors' letter etc) and you can get AP immediately.

Thanks for the reply..! I am actually filing at Nebraska Service Centre.. Does that make any difference ? Do they have a specific format for the letter?

Does'nt matter which service center you are applying.

There is no format or application for this.

Go to local service center with explanation and documentation if any, they should be able to help you out !!
