Advance Parole / EAD at Boston

I had been to Boston office (JFK building) last friday to renew my EAD and get an advance parole.

No problems faced. Got EAD for one year from the date of applying (12/6/2002) and not from the date of exipiry of my previous EAD (12/26).

Got both on the same day. Three hours in all

RD 10/23/2001

ND 12/7/2001

EAD & AP approval

Thanks for the information. My lawyer applied for renewal of EAD and AP on 12/1/02. According to him it's taking more than 2 months and I am planning to visit india by end of Jan 03. My question is if i don't get approval in time, can i goto boston local ins office and ask for renewal, while one is already in process ?? Thanks in advance for help.
