Advance Parole Concerns

My I-485 application is pending while my H1-B 7th years extension is expiring in Decmeber 12, 2007.
I want to travel on Advance Parole to Pakistan in October, 2007. Is this will be risky to travel and re-enter US safely ?
My kids are from US (i'm divorced) and i donot want to take any chance which can prevent me from re-entering US.
I hope you understand my concerns. So i should better wati for green-card approval ?

Please share your thoughts / inputs. Thanks much.
 
Hi aman,

I have couple of friends came back from Pakistan on AP with no problem.Please make sure you were never out of status since you entered last time into USA.

I am also planning to tarvel on AP in October unless my GC is approved with lottery visa eligibility.

I am also planing to travel to Pakistan on AP in December. Very nervous. Can you share if there is any problem coming back to USA when traveling to Pakistan on AP?

Jugnu786m, did your friends travel to Pak (on AP) recently? I will be great if we can all keep in touch and share our travel experience with each other. That will help a lot. What you guys think?
