Did anyone travel via London to US on Advance Parole (no visa). We have Advance Parole and EAD. I know on visa, we dont need a transit visa.

This whole transit visa is a gray area. I have not seen anyone take a transit visa to UK so far.

We are planning to coming from India to US via British Airways.

Thanks a lot in advance,

Hi

My wife left for an emergency to India. She doesn't have time to take a transit visa. If there is a doubt, we will rather take another airline.

Contrary to what you wrote, it is not a "grey area". It's pretty clear:

"Holding either an I-512 Parole letter or an I-797C (Notice of Action) instead of a valid U.S. visa; or a Transportation Letter instead of a valid U.S. Permanent Residence Card issued on or after 21 April 1998; or a U.S Visa Foil endorsed, "NOT A VISA. FOIL PREPARED AT DHS REQUEST" does NOT qualify for exemption from the DAT visa requirement."
